WordPress SEO without a plugin: a score per page, a sitemap, and redirects that catch the rest
An SEO plugin sells you a traffic light. What is actually useful is the list underneath: what this page is missing, in words, with a way to fix it. ambera checks every page and post, says it in the list and in the editor — and writes the sitemap, robots.txt and hreflang without anybody configuring anything.

Per page
- Title and description for the search result
- A score in per cent, with what is missing
- Headings, alt texts, length, internal links
- A preview of how the result will look
- Keep a page out of search when it does not belong there
For the whole site
- An XML sitemap, automatic, with every language
- A robots.txt that keeps search engines out of the client area
- hreflang per language and canonical addresses
- Structured data for articles, products and the organisation
- Pictures as WebP and AVIF, pages from the cache
Addresses
- Redirects with status 301 or 302
- The list of addresses that led nowhere
- Turn a 404 into a rule with one click
- Old addresses keep working when a page moves
- All in your database, no .htaccess by hand
The score
A ring in the list, and underneath, what is missing.
Every page and post carries a ring with a number in the list. The ring promises nothing about rankings — it counts what is there: a title, a description, one main heading, enough text, alt texts on the pictures, internal links. What is missing is written beside it in a sentence, and the button next to it goes straight there. Which means your client can see which of their pages still need work.

Title and description
The part that shows up in search.
The SEO screen lists the whole site one under the other: which page has no description, which is too short, which is missing its main heading. You edit both there or in the editor, with a preview of the result. If you like, the AI proposes a title and a description out of the content and you trim them.
Moving without losses
Old addresses lead to new ones.
Rebuilding a site changes addresses, and every old one that leads nowhere is a visitor lost. ambera keeps rules with a status and a star, and under them the list of what visitors asked for and did not get. One click turns an entry in that list into a redirect. None of it needs an .htaccess or a second plugin.

Questions
Do I need Yoast or Rank Math?
No. Title, description, score, sitemap, robots.txt, structured data and redirects are in ambera — in the free version as much as in Pro.
Does this put me on the first page?
Nobody serious promises that. What ambera does is the craftsmanship half: every page has a title, a description and a structure, search engines find everything, and nothing leads nowhere. What you write is the other half.
Does it work with several languages?
Yes. Each language gets its own addresses, hreflang, and an entry in the same sitemap.
Can I keep a page out of search?
Yes, with a switch per page — for thank-you pages, internal overviews, or anything else nobody should find through Google.
What about speed?
It belongs to the same job: cached pages, AVIF and WebP, local fonts and lean HTML from the builder. No further plugin needed for any of it.
