Statistics

WordPress statistics without cookies: counted on your own server

Numbers you can act on, without handing your visitors to anybody. The counting happens on your server, sets no cookie and stores no IP address, which is why this module alone never makes a cookie banner necessary.

No cookie.
No banner.

WordPress statistics without cookies: counted on your own server

What you see

  • Visits and visitors, by day, week, month or year
  • The pages, sorted by what was actually read
  • Where people came from: search, social, a link, direct
  • Countries, and the devices they used
  • Live: who is on the site right now

How it counts

  • On your server, in your database
  • No cookie and no fingerprint
  • No IP address stored — the country comes from your CDN header
  • Bots filtered out by a list you can extend
  • Nothing is loaded from anyone else for a visitor

And next to it

  • An SEO score per page, with what is missing
  • Titles, descriptions, sitemap and structured data
  • Redirects, and a list of the 404s people hit
  • The search terms your own search box saw
  • Export as CSV whenever you want it

Pages

Which page does the work.

The page list is the one screen most people keep open: what was read, how long, and which page people arrived on. It is enough to decide what to write next, and it is not enough to follow a single person around — which is the trade this module makes on purpose.

SEO

A score per page, and what is missing.

Every page and every post carries a ring: title, description, headings, alt texts, internal links, length. The ring says in per cent what is there, and the list underneath says what is not. The sitemap and the structured data are written by the plugin; you never install a second SEO plugin next to it.

In the client area

Numbers your client understands.

The same figures appear in the client area in plain words: visitors this month against last month, the five pages that were read, where people came from. No funnels, no segments, no dashboard they have to be trained on — and no login at a third party.

Numbers your client understands.

Questions

Do I need a cookie banner for this?

Not because of this module. It sets no cookie, stores no IP address and sends nothing to a third party. If your site needs a banner for something else — an embedded video, a map, an ad pixel — that is unchanged.

How accurate is it against Google Analytics?

Usually higher, because ad blockers do not block a script that belongs to your own domain. The numbers will not match Analytics; they are the same visits counted differently.

Where does the country come from?

From the header your CDN sends, if there is one. The optional lookup at an external service is off by default, and it stays off unless you switch it on.

Is it in the free version?

Yes. Statistics, SEO and redirects are in Light as well as Pro.
