Leads

A lead board for WordPress: enquiries from your forms, tracked until they are won or lost

A contact form does its job the moment someone presses send. What happens after that usually lives in an inbox — and that is where enquiries get lost. Leads gives every enquiry a place: a card that moves from new to contacted to meeting to quote sent, knows when you promised to call back, and leaves the board once the job is won or lost. Appointment bookings, shop orders and a visitor who leaves an address in the chat become cards as well, and the Numbers tab says per source how many were won.

Where cards come from

  • Any form with “This form creates leads” ticked
  • Bookings, orders and addresses left in the chat — and leads you add by hand after a phone call
  • One open card per email address — a second message joins it
  • Contact details read straight from the form fields
  • Spam and rejected sends never reach the board

On the board

  • Four stages — rename any, drop Meeting or Quote sent if you never use them
  • Overdue, today, waiting two days, no next step — on each card
  • Two filters: who still needs an answer, which call-backs are due
  • Drag a card, use its menu or the keyboard
  • Tabs instead of columns on a phone

Closing the loop

  • Closing a lead is a button, not a column
  • A reason for a lost lead, if you want one
  • Lost ones are deleted after a period you pick
  • Nothing you won disappears on its own
  • Export or erase everything for one address on request

From form to board

No copying, no forwarding.

The tick sits in the form builder under Settings, and the form list marks every form that carries it. From then on a submission lands twice: as a message under Messages, as before, and as a card in New. If the same person writes again while their card is open, the message is added to that card and the card says so.

No copying, no forwarding.
Call, write, note, and decide what happens next.

One page per lead

Call, write, note, and decide what happens next.

Open a card and the whole story of that person sits on one page — what they sent, attachments included, your notes, every change, and anything they asked before. Call and Email hand over to your phone and your own mail program. Set a follow-up for tomorrow or next week and it becomes a task that rings under Due now; ticking it off asks what comes next.

Won, lost, gone

The board stays short, and old leads clear themselves away.

Closing a lead takes it off the board and removes its open follow-up. Closed shows what was won and lost, searchable by name and email. Lost leads are deleted with their messages and files after the period you set, and the privacy policy from the Legal module states that period. Nothing waits for a scheduler: the tidying happens when the board opens.

Questions

Which forms create leads?

Only the ones you mark. A quote form, yes; a newsletter sign-up, probably not. Plus the leads you type in yourself.

Does it send emails?

No. The Email button hands the address and a subject to the mail program you already use, so replies leave from your usual mailbox.

Can I track deal values?

No. There are no amounts and no forecasts — just who asked, what they asked, and what happens next.

When are old leads deleted?

Lost leads go once the period you set has passed — half a year, one year or three. Open and won leads are never deleted on their own.

Who can see them?

The owner of the site. Under Access you can give them to another role, as see-only if you like.

Is this in the free version?

No — it comes with Pro. The forms that feed it are part of Light.
