White label

Your agency's brand on every screen a WordPress client sees — white label, built in

Your client knows you, not the tools you build with — and they should not meet a stranger's logo every time they log in. With Agency Unlimited you set your agency's name, logo, icon, colour and support link once, and every screen a client works in carries them. You, as administrator, still see what is under the hood.

Your agency's brand on every screen a WordPress client sees — white label, built in

You set

  • Agency name
  • A logo, and a small icon for the tab if you have one
  • A colour for buttons, links and highlights — or keep ambera's
  • A support link: a web address or an email address
  • Found under Settings → Client area

Clients see it

  • At login, including the two-factor step
  • Throughout their dashboard and the page editor
  • In the bar above the site while logged in
  • On the tab of their browser
  • In help, without our version, videos, Pro badges or review requests

You keep

  • Only administrators change it
  • As admin you keep the version number, updates and all of help
  • The site owner never sees the setting
  • It can be saved on any plan and switches on with Agency Unlimited
  • No extra plugin to keep updated

The login page is yours

The first screen they see carries your logo.

Login and the two-factor step show your logo; behind them, the client area greets them with your name top left and your colour on every button. The tab in their browser shows your icon. To your client, this is simply where their agency lets them look after their site.

Where they change their pages, your brand stays.

In the editor, too

Where they change their pages, your brand stays.

Open a page to edit it and your mark sits in the editor. Log in on the site itself and the bar above it carries your logo. You enter it once; there are no screens to chase afterwards.

Questions reach you, not us

The help is still there. It just does not send them to us.

Help still has its search and screenshots, but nothing in it points back to us: our version and videos are gone, and so are the Pro badges and the plea for a review. The support button opens your link. Administrators — you — still get the version, the updates and the complete help.

Questions

Which plan includes it?

Agency Unlimited. On Pro and Agency you can fill it in and save it; it takes effect once the licence is Agency Unlimited.

Is ambera still visible to my client?

Not where they work — login, client area, editor, the admin bar, the browser tab and help all carry your brand. Only the WordPress plugin list shows the real plugin name, and clients never get to that list.

Could a client turn it off?

No. The setting is for administrators only, and site owners do not even see it.

Does it change the website itself?

No — the site looks the way you designed it anyway. White label is about the screens behind the login.

Is a separate branding plugin needed?

No. It ships inside ambera and moves with every update.
